How to easily make printed linens

Are you a fan of printed linens? We know it would take years before anyone could do that but guess what? You can copy such design or even do your own without having to shed a cent on your wallet. You just need to have the basic materials to do it.

Here, Margot Austin shares with us how she styled her plain white cloth to an adorable piece for her patio:

Materials

  • Linen or cotton table linens
  • Fabric paint
  • Rubber or wood stamps
  • Acrylic stamp block
  • Foam stencil brush
  • Rotary cutting mat
  • Iron

Procedure:

  • Lay your fabric on a flat surface
  • Use a combination of any chosen decor of rubber stamp
  • Paint the face of the stamp with a foam stencil brush
  • Stamp your linen with the rubber stamps using only one color for a chic look
  • Clean the paint buildup off the stamps
  • Let the linens dry for one hour
  • Using a hot iron, press the fabric to set the paint
