Not Everything is About You

I am good.
I am perfect.
I am way better than you are.
I have a good job.
I am pretty.
I have a lot of money.

Buy me this and that..
Make me more beautiful.
Give me your attention.
Give me your love.
Give me your time.

Being a natural, people do always think about themselves first than others. Want proof? Ok. When you look at a group picture, who do you look at first? Yourself? Exactly! Then, you judge the quality of the pic based on how you appear on it. If your pose is not good, you say, "That's not a good shot". But when you looked so cute and you smiled great, your comment would be, "Such a nice pic. Love it! Hey, can I have a copy?"

This is just an illustration that each of us has his or her own share of - admit it - vain side. No matter how big or how simple it may be, just don't let it eat you up. =)

Hahaha! So true. Everytime I look at a group picture, I always look at myself first. Hehe.. Oh yes, I can be pretty vain sometimes.

And about that line, it's also very true. Not everything is about you.

Life is about co-existing.. living with another, living with a hundred or a thousand others.. living with animals and human beings. Co-exciting.

Everything a person does now, charts the future. Creates a reaction/consequence/result.. So he should always be careful. Not just for himself, but for everyone around him who loves and cares for yhim. He also have to understand and consider their feelings..

Because not everything in this world is about just one peron. The world does not revolve around his selfish persona. So he has to learn to share and co-exist. =)

Just a thought.. hehe.. a long one. Dropping by.. =)

Wow. I don't think there is any harm in wanting to see yourself looking happy in a photo.

And I feel I am still the type of person who would take the shoes off her feet for a stranger without hesitation or a second thought.

We all have altruistic instincts in addition to having moments of selfishness. There is a balance in life that way.

Hahaha, that is so true. I hate to admit it, but I do judge it based on how I look in the pic. :) Nice post. *thumbs up*
