Philippine National Oil Company: Taking My chance on a job hunt

Last week, a mother from our church went up to me and asked if I have a job. I honestly said that I am still in the market. She then told me to apply to Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) where her daughter is currently working for 3 years now. At first, I wasn't that interested because I am really not into the "referral or recommendation" thing. Personally, I just don't like the feeling of owing another person something, especially like this-a job. I also don't want to let that person down (if at least I got hired).
But I was forced to make an appointment from my busy schedule (of being jobless.haha!) because the mother compelled me to do so. I then texted my friends to join me. Today, we went there, and wow, the place looks great. Trees surround the whole place as if you are outside the city. I love that. People are very accommodating and friendly. Oh, I suddenly felt that I want to work there. The ambience exudes the aura of a pleasant and peaceful workplace.
With a bucketful of faith and prayers, I am hoping to be part of the Philippine National Oil Company Team.
