We Love You Momma
Tomorrow is celebration of mother's day.
I don't have much to offer mom right now but tomorrow, she and the brother will have a date at the mall. I already handed her a gift certificate so she could buy a pair of sandals. I hope with this, she'll be able to find out something of worth and beautiful for herself.

4 Days Without a Mother
It was planned a long time ago. Mom would go to Baguio for a vacay trip with her friends. I wasn't worried at all knowing I had been left alone before. That was what I thought until last Friday when I saw my mom pack her things. I felt a sudden kick of agitation. "I will be home alone!" Well, not really. I got 3 cats and a canine with me. I texted the BFF if she could come over and sleep for the night but there were no replies. My mind was in panic mode already. Argh!

I was flooded with I LOVE YOU’s
God has given me such a sweet and thoughtful BF. It became his habit to send me texts messages telling how much he loves me. He does this even if he is busy in his work. Sometimes, he calls to ask if I am okay or just to let me hear again those 3 words.
One night, I again received an I LOVE YOU message and so I replied. I immediately received a response text. Anticipating that it was something else like maybe about his day went or something, it was the phrase again. And so my phone just keeps on beeping with what else? I LOVE YOU mahal (love).
I checked the inbox record to see if it was just a network error but the messages have arrived in succeeding time stamps. Beau flooded me with I love you’s! Well, what kind of woman wouldn’t fall in love with that kind of man?

FIREPROOF: Never Leave Your Partner Behind
Having had bad days and frustrations over the past days, my heart cries out for some encouragement. I was browsing through the tv channels when my attention was caught by HBO's next movie on the line up entitled "FIREPROOF". At first, I was second guessing if that's the movie I have watched at the church for about a year now. Checked it out and I was right!
The first line of the main character made a great impact on me. "Never leave your partner especially in a fire."..Well, for starters, this movie is about a couple struggling to keep their marriage bonds intact for years but to no avail. Until the wife decides to push for divorse. Husband was persuaded by his father to give it 40 days before agreeing to her partners decision. He was given a love diary with 40 days on how to woo her wife back-from giving her flowers to fixing her coffee. It was on the process that he realized that He just cannot give his wife something he doesn't have-LOVE. He must first come into receiving God, accepting His forgiveness and understand that He has been loved unconditionally in the midst of his stubborness.
Grasping the full scope of his commitment with his wife and God, he then continues to do the 40-day challenge and still does it even though the list ended. Until he won her back, and his acts made way for her wife to receive Christ too.

What I love About You Most Today Project
Here's the thing. I don't have enough resources to buy a gift for my beau's birthday. I solicited ideas from our Jive Youth and one of them suggested that I can upload a video presentation in his facebook wall. And so, the surprise project begins. Got my Nokia 6600 slide phone and took videos of them one by one. Last night, I asked beau if he'll be checking his facebook and said no. Whew! What a relief! I excitedly uploaded the video that took me almost an hour to slot in.
I also came up with the idea to put up another page for the both of us. The "What I Love About You Most Today Project". This assignment is about the things that I really appreciate about him each day. I made it a project so that I would intentionally look at his best traits rather than dwelling on the negatives.
I know this will surprise him. He hasn't checked it yet but I left a message with the link on his facebook. So excited. Happy Birthday beau!
